Midwest Territory Manager

The Midwest Territory representative will grow sales and increase company profits by cultivating current customers and recruiting new customers. The representative will increase profitability by promoting products, providing technical support, and conducting training for new and repeat customers. Your main objective involves communicating with new and existing clients to understand their needs, and then helping them select the right products or services while taking their budget into consideration. Our ideal candidate has experience with sales forecasting as well as excellent interpersonal communication skills. Experience managing enterprise accounts is a major plus.

  • Identify sales leads and collect pertinent information from clients.
  • Inform clients about our products or services and provide demonstrations.
  • Cultivate relationships with existing clients to secure their future business.
  • Utilize customer service and negotiation skills to close deals.
  • Assist clients with special requests and problems (supply information, resolve complaints, etc.)
  • Visit customers on a regular basis as needed to measure or provide client services.
  • Negotiate and establish pricing and terms according to company's requirements for customer and transaction profitability.
  • Prepare and present quotes.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in Pipe Valves and Fittings
  • A high school diploma or GED certificate
  • An associate or a bachelor's degree (a plus)
  • Proven customer service, negotiation, and sales skills
  • Knowledge of using relevant CRM software, and Microsoft Outlook
  • The ability to work independently and travel
  • Proposal writing experience (a plus)
  • Driver license with clean driving record
